LogLine
Continuing the journeys of the The Lark Ascending, declaration of war echos through the hallways of the House of Lords and Britain's heroes march again to the drums of the fiercest war the world has yet seen.
Big Ben strikes the chimes for World War II. The forces of history, love and music dance the last tango and beckon the Lark's final journey across the lights of Heaven's door. A hundred years will pass.
Synopsis
The journey of Alexandra Forsyth-Law, the daughter of Marion Forsyth, the premier violinist of the era, and of her husband and father Professor Ewan Law, whose contribution to science will both be burnt to the annals of time.
Alexandra, celebrated concerto violinist, gives solo performance. In an instant, Royal Albert Hall is an exploding inferno. The moment will spell eternity and a time between a breath taken, a breath given. Father and daughter will be driven by the other to unveil the greatest moments spanning all emotions felt upon endeavour, set as against the background of blood, fear, faith and courage.
When Hitler looks down the Guns of Guernsey, Churchill stares right back through the coloured glass of majesty.
An ancient man with steely blue eyes leans against the burial stone of his wife. On the Cliffs of Dover, the shimmering lights dance across the wings of the Lark, as it darts and dives against the diminishing sun. As in the beginning, the climax flight is a plight towards English shores across the ocean's lapping time.
Just as The Lark Ascending conspired, so to Alexandra: The Flight of the Lark continues the story which transcends time and the noble Lark will carry Human History to its way home.
